 L-2 RAID!
I totally lifted this info of another site, but its pertinent and useful (And saves my looking it up!)
We should NOT have won 4 horsemen the other night. We were "under-geared" The only reason we won was skill. The better your gear the more mistakes can be made during the fight, we won that fight because we made so few mistakes that it didn't matter.
Check below to see how you measure up, and watch the fight videos.
Stat Guide for 10 man Naxx (All Unbuffed)
DPS Casters 1500 DPS Hit Capped (see below) 1400 SP 13K HP/MP
Melee 1500 DPS 2400 AP 14K HP 28% Crit Hit Capped (see below)
HEALER 1400 SP 14K MP 13K HP 30% Crit for paladin (not counting +6% for Sanctified Light) 550/220 MP5 (around 600-700 Spirit dep. on class/skills)
TANK Warrior/Pally 540 defense 23K HP 23K armor hit+dodge+block=45%
Death Knight 540 defense 25K HP 23K armor dodge + parry = 25%
Druid 28k HP 25K armor 30% dodge
HIT CAPS(lvl 80 vs Raid Boss) Hit Rating Cap for Melee (for special attacks) Edit: Untalented Base: The hit cap is 8% or 263 hit rating, not 9% for melee. (As Per Uchi's comment)
Shaman (dual wield with 3/3 dual wield spec): 98 hit rating Edit as per Daves comment: Enhance Shaman also need to hit the spell hit cap of 420 Rogue (5/5 Precision) 131, 315 for poisons Edit: Rogues should read this Death Knight (dual wielding and 3/3 nerves of cold steel) 197 Hunters (3/3 Focused Aim) 197 Edit: As per Hakaels comment, Hunters still need to hit 8% as focused Aim does not effect pets. Warriors (3/3 Precision) 197 Warrior TG penalty (3/3 Precision) 460* *might get removed next patch
Spell HIt Rating Caps Untalented Base: 446 (17%) Death Knight (w/Virulence) 368 Mage (w/Elem Precision or Arcane Focus) 368 Shaman (w/Elem Precision) 368 Warlock (w/Cataclysm or Suppression) 368 Shadow Priest (w/Shadow focus) 368, (and Misery) 289 Druids (w/Balance of Power) 342 (and Improved FF) 263
note: Improved Fairy Fire/Misery(shadow priest) adds 3% to hit, Draenei adds 1% each 1% = 32.79 Hit Rating and 26.23 Spell Hit Rating
Expertise Cap reduce the dodge rate by 6.5% and you will be capped

 Re: L-2 RAID!
For Hunters:
Remember that Focused Aim doesn't translate to your pet. You may not be missing, but your pet still is. So you're still looking for 8% (7% if you're a draenei). There are much better ways to spend those three talent points anyhow.
If you've just hit 80 and haven't started stacking hit, putting points in Focused Aim isn't a terrible way to go. But there's plenty of gear out there for you to improve things. Icewalker enchants for the boots, DW hit swords (its easy to get 2x Fang of Truth). There's also a decent amount of LW gear out there to help you boost hit (Eaglebane Bracers are great for example).
Happy to hear you out classed some of the bosses, and not out geared them. Sorry I was unable to attend, my laptop can't handle much WoW without overheating. I'll be back on and ready to go as usual once my PC gets back from repairs.

 Re: L-2 RAID!
A quick note for enhancement shaman - the melee special hit cap is _NO LONGER_ the only cap to reach - spells are a major component of our DPS right now, so you want to approach the spell hit cap (420 for draenei, sadly. 98 is the melee specials hit cap for us)

 Re: L-2 RAID!
To clarify = the spell hit cap is not a hard cap you have to hit to be raid viable on an enh shaman... My shaman, for example, only has 323 hit rating and does very competetive DPS... You want at least 250-300 hit rating, but remember that hit rating doesn't come on most mail (at least not in abundance) because of gear sharing with Hunters (who don't need nearly as much hit rating)... your AP and other stats should look similar, however.

 Re: L-2 RAID!
The hit cap is 8% or 263 hit rating, not 9% for melee.
